Bridgetown Hub Playgroup

Children aged 0–5 can enjoy craft, games, outdoor play, songs and story time on Tuesdays from 9 am to 11 am during school term. Families are asked to bring fruit to share. The listed fee is $30 per term or $5 for a casual visit.

Bridgetown and Greenbushes Youth Precincts

These council-operated spaces offer active, informal recreation for young people. Bridgetown’s precinct includes a skate bowl, pump track, shaded hangout zone and half basketball court. Greenbushes adds a shaded playground, skate arena, pump track, table tennis, barbecues and shelter. Both have toilets and drinking water.

Balingup Medieval Carnivale

Held annually in August at Balingup Community Grounds, the carnivale features performers, music, entertainment and interactive experiences for children and adults. Children under 12 enter free with a paying adult, and Companion Card holders receive complimentary entry. Accessible parking is available, although some ground is uneven.

🌟 Babies, parents and carers

Bridgetown Hub Pregnancy & Newborn Parents Group

Pregnant families and parents of babies aged up to 12 months can meet informally on Tuesdays from 11.30 am to 1 pm. The weekly group continues through school holidays and lists a gold coin donation.

Bridgetown Hub Babies & Toddlers Parents Group

Friday sessions from 10 am to noon give parents and young children space for tummy time, baby sensory play and conversation with other parents. The group runs during school holidays, with a gold coin donation listed.

Child Health Service – Bridgetown Clinic

The child health clinic operates on Wednesdays and Fridays at Bridgetown Hub, at the corner of Steere and Roe streets. Families should request appointments through the Child Health Service booking pathway.

Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes School Holiday Programs

Bridgetown Library and the Leisure Centre deliver supervised, low-cost holiday activities for young people of all abilities. Places are usually limited, so early booking is recommended. A program is listed for 30 September to 8 October 2026.

Blackwood Youth Action

Child Development Service – Warren Community Health

Families in Bridgetown, Greenbushes and surrounding areas can access free support for children’s eating, hearing, communication, movement, hand skills and social play. South West Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service

ICAMHS provides specialist assessment, treatment and support for children and young people aged 0–17, and their families, experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems. Bridgetown outreach appointments are arranged through the Busselton Clinic.

4families – Relationships Australia WA

This free family mental health service provides counselling, emotional and psychosocial support, information, referrals, case work, groups and workshops. Grandparents and carers can also seek support. Bridgetown outreach is available at 33 Steere Street; book through the Busselton service on (08) 6164 0600 and choose option 4.
